Meet the Practitioners

Dr. Debbie Wong REGISTERED OSTEOPATH
Monday to Saturday

Debbie's passion for osteopathy began at 15 years of age, when she happened to stumble across some books about it at the library. Being impressed with the philosophies and principles of osteopathy, she researched it further by consulting an osteopath and then speaking to the students and lecturers at the time. This further cemented her enthusiasm, and she has never looked back. Debbie graduated from RMIT University in 2005 with a double degree in Osteopathy and Applied Science, and has been working in  multi-disciplinary clinics  for most of her career. Having grown up in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Debbie opened Box Hill Complete Health in 2008, and has enjoyed taking care of the members of her local community. 

 Debbie specialises in the treatment of headaches, neck, shoulder and back pain, and postural problems, and has a special interest in jaw dysfunctions, sports injuries and rehabilitation. She not only practices Osteopathy, but she is also qualified in Traditional Chinese Cupping and Gua Sha, which she incorporates into her treatments and finds that they are a great compliment to Osteopathic medicine.

 Debbie is accredited and registered with all health funds, WorkCover, TAC, and DVA.

Dr. Annabel Eastham REGISTERED OSTEOPATH
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Annabel graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Comp Med) and a Masters of Osteopathy. Whilst growing up, she had a keen interest in sporting activities, enjoying ballet and athletics. Through her involvement in sport, Annabel developed a keen interest in the conditioning and rehabilitation of the human body. This interest led Annabel towards her career in Osteopathy.

Annabel has vast experience in the management of variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions including headaches, back pain & sciatica, sports injuries, arthritis, pregnancy related back pain and repetitive strain injuries, just to name a few.

Throughout the duration of her studies, Annabel worked closely with teams at Old Trinity and Forest Hill Australian Rules Football Clubs. Here she worked as a sports trainer and rehabilitation assistant. Teams at both clubs achieved premiership victories under her care and attention. This experience afforded Annabel great exposure to the unique demands placed on young and mature athletes, and allowed her to grasp a strong understanding of sports injury management and rehabilitation.

Annabel has a keen interest in maternal health and paediatrics. She loves working with children and worked as a nanny during her time as a student. Her interest in children led her to complete her Masters in the field of paediatrics. She has a special interest in Osteopathy for pregnancy, and thoroughly enjoys assisting women through this important and exciting time.

Annabel is delighted to be part of the Box Hill Complete Health team and looks forward to assisting her patients in achieving whole body health and vitality.

Dr. Kelly Murray CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Dr Kelly Murray is registered as a specialist Clinical Psychologist with Medicare, and is a recognized provider of psychological services with health insurance companies, Workcover and the TAC. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, and the College of Clinical Psychologists. She is also a member of the Child and Adolescent Special Interest group within the APS, and is part of a network of independently practicing psychologists who meet regularly for professional development. She has links with Monash University and allows regular time to maintain her knowledge of current research and theory.

Christopher Tang CHINESE MEDICINE PRACTITIONER/ACUPUNCTURIST
Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Being exposed to Chinese Medicine from a very young age, choosing to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was a natural progression for Chris Tang. He graduated from the Australian College of Natural Medicine (ACNM) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and has spent time in Nanning, China, doing intensive workshops at Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. He later proceeded to complete his Masters in Applied Science (Chinese Herbal Medicine) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

After completing his studies, Chris began studying under the wing of his highly successful mentor with nearly 40 years experience. He participates in seminars and goes back to China on a regular basis to constantly update his knowledge and refining various techniques.

He tutors both junior and senior students of TCM at Endeavour College of Natural Medicine and is very passionate about his work. Chris also loves helping his patients achieve optimum health, fertility and relief of pain. His strengths are in treating musculoskeletal disorders and he has a special interest in gynaecological disorders, fertility, pregnancy and post-natal treatments,  including labour preparation and induction.

His treatments include Acupuncture, Herbs (granulated and patent), Cupping, Chinese Remecial Massage, Gua Sha and Acupressure. Rebates are available from most health funds.

Sarah Najjar MASSAGE/SHIATSU/REIKI PRACTITIONER
Monday and Friday

Sarah has been interested in complimentary therapies since 1997. During this time she worked in both mainstream and complimentary health care settings. She obtained Reiki (Master Level) in India in 2002 and practised in the U.K. Sarah returned to Australia with a desire to formally learn more about how the body functions and in 2006 undertook a Dual Diploma of Remedial Massage and Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies at East West College.

Depending on clients’ needs Sarah offers individual Massage, Shiatsu and Reiki treatments as well incorporating all three modalities into a treatment.
